I envision and dream for a utopian future for humanity. I see that Industrial Design and Transportation Design have that similar vision, and these industries are actively helping to drive our world towards that future. I personally find taking an active part in a team that is creating this future to be deeply satisfying and rewarding because we are taking on our responsibilities as creatives, designers, and human beings.
A fascination in 3D prototyping, machines, cars, art, science, and astronomy fed into one of the hobbies I had growing up in Zimbabwe; which was creating mock-ups of terrestrial and space vehicles with found objects. I had to be innovative with my building materials, for I had limited access to what I could build with. This was when I developed a passion for problem solving, sculpture, the 3D creative world, and sustainability. I see a lot of these facets of art and design solved effortlessly in our natural world, and I find a lot of inspiration there. My mindset is naturally practical, objective, patient, and empathetic towards others. I believe this mindset helps make 3D modeling my specialty, because it puts me in a position to work with engineers and designers in the quest for the common goal of producing successful vehicles and products that will bring humanity towards a brighter future.
